Pump Pot
Pump pots are needed when the spa pump is mounted near or above the water line.
The pot prevents water from draining back into the spa when the motor is turned off.
Even if pumps are installed below the water level, installing a pump pot
helps in many ways. Pump pots also help remove air from the water lines, and helps the
pump provide consistent water flow. Most spas don't have all the water flowing through the filter.
There is a strainer inside the pump pot to help prevent leaves, rocks, or large debris from
entering into the pump housing that can damage internal parts.
Our pump pots are manufactured by Waterway Plastics.
There are 2 sizes. Select the size that will screw onto your pump intake.
If your spa has 2 pumps, you need a pump pot for each pump that is mounted near or above the water line.
NOTE: This pump pot is to be installed with a spa pump mounted near the spa, not more than 5 feet away
and not more than 2 feet above the water level. Otherwise an in-ground pool pump is needed (contact us for pricing).
