Spa Blower Check Valve (NON-Returnable)

If your spa has a blower, this check valve should be installed in-line between your blower and the spa air plumbing to help prevent water from back-flowing from your spa into your blower (as a secondary protection). This can happen when your blower is turned off causing it to literally siphon water from your spa into the blower. This backflow is not only dangerous, but will likely damage your blower and possibly the spa controller, too.

Check valves should be replaced every 5 years.

NOTE that a blower check valve is to be used as a secondary protection for a small amount of water (one hand full) coming through the air line. The Primary Air Line Trap on the spa plumbing that loops up above the top of the water level should be the primary protection to stop all water from coming through the air line.
