The Gemini Plus II Variable Speed Bath Pump is compact and easy to install. It runs quietly. It’s also known to be the most reliable bath tub pump on the market, with a failure rate of less than 0.1%.

If you are replacing an existing bath tub pump, you should replace it with the same or similar horsepower and amp rating as your existing pump, if you are happy with current forcefulness of the water coming out of your jets. Check the markings on the pump you are replacing. In general, bath tub pump motors should have 1 HP for every 4 to 6 standard size jets. More horsepower is not better. Overpowering your jets with too much horsepower could damage your plumbing, your equipment, or even you! So, it is important to get the right sized motor for your bath tub. We offer the following horsepower levels:

For retrofitting, you have the option to add screw-on pump unions which glue directly onto 1.5 inch plumbing. After the unions are glued onto your bath tub’s existing plumbing, the unions screw directly onto the pump’s suction and return fittings. The included o-rings provide a tight seal.
