570. Support: Heat rise for whirlpool jetted bathtub heaters.

For heat rise experience, your bath heater will operate with one of the following configurations: A normal 70-gallon whirlpool jetted bathtub with minimum starting water temperature of 95 degrees F will experience a heat rise approximately as detailed below: 120V - The heater will operate on demand at 1500 Watts with a bathtub pump operation. It will automatically shut off when the bathtub pump is turned off or the max temp is reached. You can expect a heat rise of 1 F to 2 F per hour. 240V - The heater will operate on demand at 2000 Watts with a bathtub pump operation. It will automatically shut off when the bathtub pump is turned off or the max temp is reached. You can expect a heat rise of 2 F to 4 F per hour. NOTE that whirlpool jetted bathtub heaters, or bath heaters that we offer, are meant for maintaining the water temperature. Therefore, start off with hot water for the bath heater to maintain that hot water up to 104 F. If starting with water temperature lower than 95 F (inside the bathtub), we cannot gaurantee the heat rise up to the max temperature.
