553. Will a heater that is rated for 110V (120V) work on 220V (240V)?

Heaters that are rated 110V (120V) can only be powered by that voltage or half the voltage. It cannot be powered with higher voltage than what it's rated for, or the heater coils will burn out. For example: A heater that is rated 220V (240V), it can also be powered with 110V (120V), and the heater wattage will be less (about 4 times less).
