437. Pump constantly clicking on/off continuosly (Pneumatic).

You reported that the primary pump kicks on for half a second and kicks off right away. This process is continuous. The problem can be the pump circuit triggering on/off, or it can be the motor clicking on/off. - First check to make sure correct power is supplied to the spa. For 110V application, make sure there is 110V supplied to the spa. For 220V application, make sure there is 220V supplied when measuring between Line 1 and Line 2. - Verify what is activating on/off. Is it from the pump motor, or from the controller box? Unplug the red pump motor cord to verify if the clicking noise is still going on. If so, the problem might be the thermostat, timer, or the contactor. Test the thermostat by turning it off for about a minute. Then turn the thermostat up to max. Also test the time clock by setting all the pins to the off position. And then test the time clock by setting the pins to activate the pump every 15 minutes within the hour. If nothing is clicking on/off from the inside the controller box after the red pump motor cord is unplugged, then the problem might be the pump motor or incorrect power is being supplied. Verify power to the controller, and then verify power to the motor. Get back to us with your findings.
