SpaGuts Pneumatic Spa Controllers use a thermostat to control the water temperature. Thermostats are not as accurate as a digital temperature sensor that is installed on a thermowell which mounts on the wall of the spa or hot tub. Below is the average thermostat temperature range when set at a certain position. At 12 o'clock position, the average temperature range is from 76°F - 81°F At 1 o'clock position, the average temperature range is from 82°F - 87°F At 2 o'clock position, the average temperature range is from 90°F - 95°F At 3 o'clock position, the average temperature range is from 103°F - 108°F *Fine tuning is required to get the desired temperature, but may not be exact. The information listed above is a sample thermostat temperature range. If you experienced a slightly different temperature reading, do not be alarmed. It may be the thermometer that is being used, or adjusting the thermostat slightly up or down may get you to the preferred water temperature.
