533. Support: VS "SZ" Series controller Filter cycles settings

Preset Filter Cycles (Filtration Cycle) for the VS Series The first preset filter cycle begins 6 minutes after the spa is energized (at first power up). If you want the filter cycle to start at 8pm daily, power up the spa at that time. The second preset filter cycle begins 12 hours later (If the start up time was at 8pm, the second filter cycle will be at 8am). Filter duration is programmable for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours or for continuous filtration (indicated by FC). For example if F2 is selected, the filter cycle will run 2 hours each time. That would be 2 hours for the first filter cycle, and then 2 hours for the second filter cycle. NOTE that the filter cycle is preset at 2 times per day, and cannot be changed. The default filter time is 2 hours for non-circulation pump systems, and 4 hours for circulation pump systems (this is if a small circulation pump is installed and activated from the circuit board dip switches). To program the filter cycle duration, press “Temp,” then “Jets 1.” Press “Temp” to adjust (the temp button must be held down to scroll through the options). If there are two temperature buttons (UP and DOWN), choose either one. Press “Jets 1” to exit programming. For non-circulation pump systems, low-speed pump 1 and the ozone generator (if installed) run during filtration. For 24 hour circulation pump systems, the circulation pump and the ozone generator (if installed) run 24 hours. In hot environments, the circulation pump may turn off for 30 minute periods, except during the filter cycles. For non-24 hour circulation pump systems, the circulation pump and ozone generator (if installed) run during filtration (and may also run automatically at other times). At the beginning of each filter cycle all other equipment will run briefly (about 1 minute) to purge the plumbing. If only one pump, that pump will first start on high speed for 1 minute. If one pump and a blower (or pump 2), both will start on high speed for 1 minute. If two pumps and a blower (or pump 3), all will start on high speed for 1 minute.
