The heater has a plastic housing with 3/4" Barb fittings, mounting studs, two heater cables, and a Titanium 5.5KW 220V Heater Element. The heater gasket is the U-Channel type, which provides the best sealant. NOTE that the heater element is non-replaceable.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Smart Heater has a slightly smaller dry well. When installing these heaters into spas manufactured prior to April 2007, you can no longer use the OEM Hi-Limit Sensor since it is too large to fit into the new heater's sensor well. You will need to replace both the Smart Heater and Hi-Limit Sensor Kit (SG P/N 26-915-0168) as a set. Click on link to view the 26-915-0168 HL Sensor.
