Failed whirlpool jetted bath tub pumps can be easily replaced with our Whirlpool bath tub pump, which fits all whirlpool bath tubs.

If you are replacing an existing bath tub pump, you should replace it with the same or similar horsepower and amp rating as your existing pump, if you are happy with current forcefulness of the water coming out of your jets. Check the motor label specifcations on the pump you are replacing. In general bath tub pump motors should have 1 HP for every 4 to 6 standard size jets. More horsepower is not better. Overpowering your jets with too much horsepower could damage your plumbing, your equipment, or even you! So, it is important to get the right sized motor for your bath tub. We offer the following horsepower levels:
For retrofitting, you have the option to add screw-on pump unions which glue directly onto 1.5 inch plumbing. After the unions are glued onto your bath tub’s existing plumbing, the unions screw directly onto the pump’s suction and return fittings. The included o-rings provide a tight seal. If buying this pump as an exact replacement that does not require retrofitting, it is highly recommended to replace the pump union o-rings at the same time. Old pump union o-rings may cause leaks that can damage the new pump and affect the warranty. O-rings for pump unions are only available with a pump union purchase.

If your tub is not already equipped with an air button, you’ll need to add an air button to your order. The air button comes with 4ft air tubing that connects to the air switch on the bath pump to turn it on/off.
