745. Can the inline bathtub heater be installed upside down, or inside out? Installation of Pressure and Vacuum Switch version.

The bath tub heater can be installed right side up (with electrical box on top of heater housing), upside down (with electrical box below the heater housing), or inside out (with the text or logo on the electrical box facing the bathtub). This will not affect the heater operation. Only problem is that you will not be able to see the Heater ON light if the text or logo on the electrical box is facing the bathtub. BUT DO KEEP IN MIND REGARDING INSTALLATION OF THE VACUUM AND PRESSURE SWITCH BATHTUB HEATERS. Make sure the bath heater is installed on the correct side of the bath pump. PRESSURE SWITCH: Bath Heaters with built-in pressure switch are to be installed on the pressure side of the pump. A pressure of 1.4 PSI is required for the pressure switch version. The pressure or discharge side is located on top of the pump. VACUUM SWITCH: Bath Heaters with built-in vacuum switch are to be installed on the vacuum side of the pump. A vacuum pressure of -1.4 PSI is required for the vacuum switch version (Note the minus sign). The vacuum or suction side is located in front of the pump. Correct the installation if needed.
