927. SUPPORT: BP Controller display NO Comm on Topside Panel.

A “No Comm” is due to a loss of connection/communcation between the topside and the board. This situation may be due to a component failure; board or topside, but could also be due to a weak connection of the topside cables/extension. 1) Power down the spa. Check all the connection point inside the spa controller for proper connection, possible corrosion and/or cut wires. Also check the Topside Cable and/or extension cable for any damages or disconnect. - If all is proper, repower the spa and see how it reacts. 2) If problem persists, it may be a problem at the component level. - Power down the spa, and disconnect the topside cable from the control system. Turn the Power back ON without the topside panel connected; if operational, the system would activate within the next 10 minutes. * If the system doesn’t activate, contact us for an RMA to return the control system for a warranty evaluation (If within the warranty period). If outside of the warranty period a new circuit board purchase is recommended. ** If the system activates, check to see if there is an extension cable being used for the topside panel. If an extension cable is being used, disconnect the extension cable and connect the original attached topside cable directly to the control system. If no extension cable being used, and no damages to the original attached topside cable, contact us for an RMA to return the Topside Panel with cable attached for a warranty evaluation (If within the warranty period). If outside of the warranty period a Topside Panel and/or extension cable purchase is recommended.
