Installation of Air Buttons on the Acrylic Plate: This installation instructions is for the 2-Button, 3-Button and 4-Button Acrylic Plates The Air Button Acylic Plates are universal and designed to fit many size air buttons. Just as long the air buttons being used have a 1.75 inch outside diameter top bezel and tightening nut. Note that the air buttons that are supplied with SpaGuts Acrylic Plate with Air Buttons Kit, Single Air Button with Tubing or Air Buttons that came with a Pneumatic Controller or Spa Pack may be of different size. But all air buttons that are supplied will have a 1.75 inch outside diameter top bezel and tightening nut. The hole might be large on the acrylic plate, but it fits the supplied air buttons. The nut on the air button will hold the air button in place on the acrylic plate when aligned and tighten. You will need to remove the rubber washer (if supplied) for a better fit, and use silicon to protect from water leaks. All the acrylic plates we have, have the same hole size (1.5 inch). Mounting the Air Buttons and Acrylic Plate: Align the Acrylic Plate on the topside of the hot tub where it is going to be mounted. Then use a dark marker to trace the circle holes off the acrylic plate so that it appears on the topside of the hot tub. Locate and mark the center of each circle. Then drill a hole for the air buttons from the center mark, and allow some wiggle room for the air buttons (this is needed when aligning the air button and acrylic plate together on the topside of the hot tub). Once the cut-out holes are clean, put down first the acrylic plate. Then insert the air buttons through the acrylic plate holes to verify if the air buttons and acrylic plate are aligned (adjustments may be needed for alignment). Once everything is aligned, use silicone to help protect from water going through, and tighen down the nut to the air buttons.
