870. Sales: Do you sell only the topside panel?

Yes, we do sell replacement topside panels. But we really don't recommend replacing just the topside panel. The problem may not just be the topside panel itself. The problem can also be the main circuit board. And a bad circuit board can also cause the new topside panel to go bad. Note that a replacement topside panel cannot be returned once it is removed from the factory sealed bad (it is an electronic part). Therefore we recommend our customers to replace with a New Controller Kit that includes a new circuit board that is pre-installed and pre-wired to reduce major mis-wiring, and a new topside panel and heater that will work properly with the unit. The pre-assembled controller is UL, ETL, and CSA approved for safe commercial and home use. If you decide to go with just the replacement topside panel, here is the information needed to help locate the correct replacement topside panel. 1) Identify the Manufacturer's Name of the Topside Panel. Popular requests on replacement Topside Panels are normally made by either "Gecko" or "Balboa". These names are normally printed on a white label on the side of the topside panel. 2) In order to locate the correct replacement Topside Panel, identify the Part Number and Model Number off a White Sticker located directly on side of the Topside Panel. Below are two samples: a. GECKO TOPSIDE PANEL: Look for the ID number that is located on a white label off to the side of the existing Topside Panel. If the topside panel is installed on the spa, you'll need to remove the topside panel from the spa and flip it over. Use a flat head screw driver to pry up the topside panel. If there are clamps holding the topside panel down, first undo the clamps from under the spa. Use silicone if you need to secure the topside back onto the spa.. That label will have an ID number on it, and the ID number is normally located on the top of the white label, and also alone by itself. The number should start with 3-00-XXXX, or 3-05-XXXX, or 0202-XXXXXX. b. BALBOA TOPSIDE PANEL: The S/N (serial number) is located on the bottom side or off to the side of the topside panel. There should be a white label with bar code. If the topside panel is installed on the spa, you'll need to remove the topside panel from the spa and flip it over. Use a flat head screw driver to pry up the topside panel. If there are clamps holding the topside panel down, first undo the clamps from under the spa. Use silicone if you need to secure the topside back onto the spa. The S/N number should start with the number "5" (it may look like a 6, but is actually a 5). There may be *** (stars) within the serial number. *Once you have identified the correct part number, you can then enter that part number in our "Search Site" box that is located on the top left hand corner of the SpaGuts.com website, and press "GO". Our website should then provide the Replacement Topside Panel and/or other Replacement Options for you to review, add to cart, and then checkout to order. **If no replacement is found for your search, it is possible that the Topside Panel may not be available, and a replacement Spa Controller Kit would be the next replacement option as a retrofit. Or that part number may not yet be updated on our SpaGuts.com website. PLEASE NOTE: If your control box is more than a few years old, it might be time to replace the whole controller vs. individual components.
