706. Support: New Air Switch is not activating a component.

You have reported that the air switch is not working properly. Check the following for troubleshooting: - If the air button is not activating the air switch, make sure the air tubing is connected from the bottom end of the air button to the air switch. We recommend using a new air button and air tubing to ensure compatibility and to avoid operational problems. - Use 1/8 inch air tubing at max length of 10 feet. Or use 1/16 inch air tubing at max length of 25 feet. Exceeding the maximum length of air tubing will decrease air pressure going to the air switch. If using the 1/16 inch air tubing, heat up the end of the tubing a little bit to expand the tubing so it can be inserted in the nipple fittings of the air button and air switch. - When pressing the air button to activate the air switch, the air switch should make a clicking sound. If you don't here the air switch click, it is possible that the air tubing is too long, the air button is not providing enough air, or the air switch went bad. Make sure there is no water in the air tubing. If water gets into the air switch, it will go bad. - If the air switch does click and the component does not turn on, check the power supply to the to the air switch. If the air switch clicks and will not turn off the component, the problem may be the air switch, the air tubing or the air button. Also try a new air button and/or air tubing to see if that will solve the problem. - If the air switch still does not make a clicking sound, try a new air button and/or air tubing. This will help determine if the problem is the air switch, the air button and/or the air tubing. *If you have verified that there is power going to the air switch, the correct length air tubing is being used and the air button is providing strong air pressure, contact us back to request an RMA to authorize the return of the air switch for inspection.
