859. Support: Rust and Corrosion by Salt Systems

Salt Systems are corrosive to heater elements that are NON-Titanium. This is because you have to do MORE to maintian the salt level and also balance the salted water properly. If the salt water treatment is NOT carefully maintained AND balanced, it will quickly rust and corrode a Non-Titanium heater. Therefore a FULL Titanium Heater would be a more suitable heater for salt sytems due to the water is more difficult to maintain and balanced. Unfortunately we cannot cover rust and corrosion on a heater.
